"hyperbole riff" is a yearning for myself.
Difficulty and a dream, rolled up in one:
hyperbole, to exaggerate—
—habits and patterns I wish to escape;
riff, to repeat—
—rambles and thoughts I yearn to pursue.
In some ways, I've lost my self.
My reactions to the world around me—
—and the strength of my thoughts;
both have changed, because of my highly digital life.
"hyperbole riff" is a site for my self, to grant voice to the thoughts I don't often think, to sit in quiet until they come out.
It also meant nothing per se before today. But I hope you'll forgive me for lying.
